Description

The Outbound Data and Research Specialist is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities for Paycom found in online forums, review sites, and social media.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use social media monitoring software (e.g., Meltwater) to identify relevant conversations on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to identify individuals and organizations exhibiting a sales opportunity such as initiating a payroll project or dissatisfaction with their current vendors.
  • Establish the context for an individuals or organizations payroll need and interpret what Paycom solution and value proposition it is aligned to.
  • Define the type of sales opportunity in Paycom's CRM system, its related organization, and the person or persons related to the opportunity and then assign to the right direct sales resource for follow-up.
  • Work with Paycom's marketing database manager to determine how social prospecting lead generation will be measured and monitored through reporting and dashboards. Work with the members of Paycom's Insights and Reporting team to create said dashboards and reports.
  • Working in conjunction with Paycom's marketing automation and campaign team to create, build, and optimize a nurture path for new social prospecting leads to go through. This involves engagement through email, display, and social.
  • Develop broad company knowledge needed to route non-sales inquiries to the proper functions such as technical support and account management.
  • Monitor the sales follow-up of social generated prospecting leads and managed internal escalation process of leads. managed internal escalation process of leads.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, or related field

Experience:

  • 3 years experience in social media monitoring
  • Previous experience using CRM software
  • Deep familiarity with social media platforms including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram is required.
  • Familiarity with online software review sites, including, but not limited to G2 Crowd, Trust Radius, and Software Advice.
  • Previous experience creating structured processes in a former role.

  • Experience in a service support role
